At the NORMAN Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, the skills of our therapeutic team are always the priority. Bringing the latest technology into the rehabilitation process, however, allows us to put our experience to even more effective use. The PABLO® system is one of the tools used at the NORMAN centre to help us develop individual therapy plans. It also serves for assessment, interactive rehabilitation and the monitoring of progress achieved during therapy. The feedback it provides, and the way we interpret it, allows us to guide each patient so that the final outcome is even better.
A range of sensors and various accessories mean the device can be used safely to treat patients with differing states of health.
Patients have the opportunity to benefit from therapy on the PABLO® device during rehabilitation stays at the NORMAN centre. We deliver interactive whole-body therapy – for the hands, fingers, arms, legs and head.
PABLO® is used as part of the comprehensive rehabilitation of neurological patients.
During a rehabilitation stay, we are able to measure:
- grip patterns;
- grip strength in individual fingers;
- grip strength across the whole hand;
- extension and flexion strength;
- range of movement in the head, arm, hand, trunk and leg;
- range of movement
A complete assessment of the patient’s abilities, recorded by the device, is the foundation for an objective evaluation of the therapeutic process.
Tests and measurements of various kinds are, of course, important, but what matters most is rehabilitation that is dedicated to the patient and focused on their needs. That is why we turn all this objective patient data into a plan of action, incorporating it into the rehabilitation process.
We complement traditional rehabilitation methods with modern technology, but always in the most individualised way possible. Rehabilitation using the PABLO® device remains highly personalised therapy, one-to-one with a physiotherapist.
