About the centre

Neurological rehabilitation since 1993

Experience and our own methodology

At the NORMAN Centre, we provide neurological rehabilitation for people after ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke, with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

Our therapeutic process is built on a philosophy of work we have been developing since 1993 — ever since we launched the first rehabilitation stays based on our own PAJĄK (Spider Therapy) device.

An individual programme for every patient

Neurological rehabilitation at the NORMAN Centre means specialised therapy programmes aimed at your comprehensive recovery — supported standing, gait re-education and improved walking quality, and regaining upper limb function and speech.

Every patient is supported by a team of several specialists from different fields, working together to achieve the best possible results.

A homely atmosphere, not a hospital one

We rehabilitate patients from all over the world. We offer rooms at the centre and apartments outside it. Every type of accommodation has a homely feel, and patients who need assistance stay together with their accompanying carers. Meals are always prepared on site at the centre.

We avoid a hospital-like character, so patients feel more at ease and rehabilitation runs more smoothly. The centre is located 15 km from the Baltic Sea, in a peaceful spot close to a forest.

Proven results

More than 80% of patients book another rehabilitation stay to continue their rehabilitation and consolidate the results they have achieved. Many patients have taken their very first steps during their stays in Koszalin.

Thousands of positive reviews from patients and carers, the “Golden Books” we have kept since 1993, and the stories and videos published on our website are a source of pride for us — and a signal for anyone looking for specialised neurological rehabilitation.

Reach and methodology

A centre built around experience, family and work that delivers real results

Norman Łoziński, the owner of the centre, is the designer of the PAJĄK device, which we use every day in the rehabilitation of neurological patients. It forms an important part of our own working methodology, developed since 1993.

We rehabilitate patients from all over Poland and the world. Behind our team are hundreds of thousands of hours of one-to-one work with people after stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumour surgery and other neurological conditions.

We know how important the support of loved ones is at such a difficult time, which is why during a rehabilitation stay the family can watch the rehabilitation, ask the therapists questions and learn how to care for the patient — skills that prove valuable back at home.

Stories

Real therapy results

Every story is different, but they share one thing: progress — visible, measurable, real.

For many patients and their families, we are the first choice.

The best place for rehabilitation after a stroke. A wonderful atmosphere that motivates you to exercise, created by a team of professional and warm-hearted physiotherapists. After two rehabilitation stays, the patient made incredible progress and regained her independence. Highly recommended.

After a long search, we found the NORMAN Centre. Following a severe stroke and paralysis, my mother was bedbound. Within a few days she began to sit up on her own, within a week she was moving across to a wheelchair, and she can now stand with support. Thank you to the whole team for their tremendous effort, empathy and help. We recommend them one hundred per cent.

The therapists are of a very high standard, the centre is perfectly organised, the home-cooked food is delicious, the owner is present and helpful, and the atmosphere is like family. I recommend it with a clear conscience.

The process

How the therapy works

Every programme is individual, but the process always rests on proven foundations.

01

Consultation and assessment

A thorough assessment of your health

The foundation of every personalised course of therapy is proper preparation. That is why each patient’s rehabilitation begins with a full assessment of their state of health.

02

Therapy plan

An individual programme tailored to your needs

Based on our diagnostic tests, we create a personalised rehabilitation programme. We set specific, measurable goals – both short and long term. The plan is flexible and evolves in step with your progress and any changes in your health.

03

Precise rehabilitation

Regular sessions with a team of specialists

Systematic, precisely targeted rehabilitation delivered over long treatment hours allows us to spread your physical exertion evenly over time, which leads to better therapeutic outcomes.

04

Reviewing progress and adapting the programme

Continuous review of progress and adjustment of the programme

We measure your progress regularly. Where necessary, we adjust the rehabilitation process to respond to how your body reacts. The entire therapeutic team oversees the quality of your rehabilitation and the medical procedures we put in place.

05

Continuation and independence

Preparing you to carry on the work on your own

We prepare you and your carers to continue the exercises independently. On request, we provide practical instruction. We give you the knowledge and tools you need to carry on with your therapy.
